{Christmas in August ~ Custom Christmas Cards Being Offered!! }

I know everyone is like..please don't start talking about Christmas already but it isn't too early to start thinking about. I've actually had people asking me about Christmas cards this past week. But I wanted to get a few of these posted to show everyone. Here are a few of the custom christmas cards that I will be offering. All of these collections are 5x7's.

{First Sergeant Dan Kersey - US Army Retiree}

I was honored to be able to do this for Mr. Kersey, he was referred from a local business ( Town House Gallery)! Thanks !! Mr. Kersey is home bound so we had to do his session in his home. He served a total of 23 years in the Army! That is awesome, he also served at the following places: 101st Airborne, Infantry, 31 months in Vietnam, 2 years in Korea, 3 years in Germany, 3 years Panama, Fort Brag, Fort Campbell, and Fort Ord in California. It was great talking with him, I think he enjoyed the company as well, I talked to him longer than his session lasted. His children and grand-children live in California. They were wanting him to have some pictures made in his uniform, so this is a gift to them. Thank you Mr. Kersey for your years of service and dedication to this country. It is people like you that we owe our freedoms.

Also I can't forget his best friend Sally. She is a English Setter. She was so friendly as long as my camera was put away. The clicking of the camera scared her to death. So I got only a couple of her maybe I can try again when I deliver his proof book.

{ Sam I Am - 18 Months }

Here is my little man and he is now 18 months which is so hard to believe. After this little session I understand why photographers get so frustrated photographing their own children!! I understand why they go to another photographer! Sam has always done pretty well with getting his pictures done and trust me he has had them taken very often his first year!! Maybe as a photographer our expectations of our children are just too HIGH and you know that we want to get the PERFECT picture! We had went downtown Knoxville to eat one night so I thought I will get a few shots of Sam while we are there, well let's just say my plans got shot! Sam was not happy about at all, I tried everything, he had a complete meltdown, he had never done that before while doing his pictures! So the first few are during the meltdown and then I finally got a few of him. The others are at a barn where a photographer took his 6 months pictures, I thought it would be neat to look at how much he is grown!! I had done a session for people that wanted to go to the barn so I just got a few of him also afterwards! He just was not info either one of these sessions, at the barn he was to interested in the cows.

Melinda and Whit - Part II

Here are a few more of Melinda and Whit's E-Session. They are just a cute couple! My family and I attended their engagement party a week or so ago and had a great time!! You can just tell they are so happy and I am very happy for the both of them! Melinda loves black/white photos so I did most of theirs in B/W!!! Enjoy

{ Trevor - CCHS Senior Rep }

Meet Trevor, he is your CCHS quarterback! We did his session a couple weeks ago and Thank You all for being so patient on waiting for your proofs!! I really enjoyed this session as well as my husband did. I enjoyed talking with Trevor and his mom. We started out in downtown Lafollette and then went to Jacksboro to the train tracks. There is just something about me being on train tracks, every time a train comes!! It is getting pretty funny! I just told them that every time that I come to the train tracks a train comes and then we heard it!! It was just funny! So check out the first picture! Trevor's 2nd picture is probably my favorite!! He is such a handsome guy and is very sweet!

~ Fall Family Sessions ~

Fall is always a big time for portraits for families! Some do family portraits once a year, some do them several times a year or some just have them done to use for Christmas presents and cards. Speaking of Chrsitmas Cards I will be posting some that I will offer shortly. Anyhow, I love the fall!!
I will be offering Fall Family Sessions at an outside location, on October 24th ~ Sessions will be approx. 45 minutes. Session fee will be $45 ~ Sessions will go from 10:00am to 4:00pm
These sessions are per family and addtional families will be charged a regular session fee .

This is a good thing......
