Meet "Harry"

Well we have a new member of The Sexton household..... Harry the bunny!! For those of you who have Direct TV, they offer a channel called Baby First TV and we have this channel for Sam and he loves it! There is a rabbit on one of there shows and the show is called Harry the Bunny, so this is where we got the the name for the rabbit. Sam LOVES that show! Here are some quick shots I took of Sam and Harry. The first couple are when he first saw him after we got home. He is really sweet..... so far!!

Miss Courtney

This is Courtney, she wanted to do something for herself after meeting a major goal she set for herself.  The very first picture is one that she sent me, it was taken on her vacation around the first  Nov 2007.  I asked Courtney to give me a little story about her situation, and here it is: 

"On November 6, 2007 I went to the doctor and discovered I had gained twenty pounds in one year. With the help of my doctor I decided to make a change. The last sixteen months have been an uphill battle, but it has been worth it. To this day I have lost over one hundred pounds toward my goal!"

Awesome for Courtney!! She has lost over one hundred pounds and still counting!! As you can see below, she has made a huge change.  This is why she wanted to have her pictures done, little things like that can make you feel extra special. 

I am very proud of her and wish her the best in continuing her journey!! 

Courtney and her sister are special to me and many others, they keep our children at church so I thought I would share this with you, while I was finishing her pictures up last night Sam was ready for his Mommy time like he does every night so I picked him up and sat him in my lap and he saw Courtney's picture up on the computer and looked at me and smiled real big and said HI and he started waving at you!!! Sam and Whitney, Courtney's sister went with us the day of her session. 

And last but not least, you will see a few train shots below, yes a train came through as we was doing her session. Of all the times for one to come through it had to be during that hour, it was pretty funny all of us rushing back to the car and we was really close to the tracks!!!  Here are some of my favorites.....

 

Life is a Highway........

While traveling to the beach we saw this sign so on the way home I got a shot as we drove down the interstate through Alabama. Daniel and I started laughing and said well that sums it up!!! It is a sign that catches your eye for sure.... whose ever marketing idea that was  - it works!!!

We went on vacation last week and it was Samuel's first time to the beach, which he LOVED!! He was not afraid of the water at all. Anyone that knows little Sam and has been around him knows he is on the go 24/7, so it was really hard to keep him out of the water or sand. I tried building him a  sand turtle but he insist on messing it up every time I tried. Here are a few pictures of our sweet little boy!!! Enjoy

Mr & Mrs Massengill

This is Robert and Sarah, they were my very first wedding!!! I was so excited and nervous!! Sarah, Robert and their families loved their pictures and I did too. I have so many that are my favorites. They got married at the end of February and their wedding was so pretty and they are so sweet together. It was a lot of fun hanging out with Sarah and all the girls all day. I have known Sarah and her family since I was a little girl so it was extra special to be there behind the lens on her wedding day.  I would have never thought that as a little girl!! Here are a few of my favorites and more to come soon. I am doing her bridal session and a session with them in April so check back.

Easter Special will be outdoor sessions - location of your choice. These sessions will last approx. 30 to 45 mins, and I will be running this special now thru April 5th. One family per session, approx. 50 images and you will get online proofing. Session Fee will be $25
You may purchase addtional sheets as well. Option to buy proof disc (with copyrights) with purchase of either package for $75.

Prom Special Reminder

I have marked the following days off for a Special Prom Session: May 9th for Anderson County High School Prom and April 25th for Campbell County High School Prom. The sessions will last around 30 minutes and you will have approximately 25 images to view. The special package will include: session fee, on-line proofing, 1 8x10, 2 5x7's, 4 4x6's, and 10 wallets for $75 per couple. Additional persons will be $10 each. You may purchase additional sheets for $10 per sheet. So....... the first student to email me - (1 student from each school) gets there session for FREE!!!! Rice 50th Anniversary Party

I was so excited to get to shoot Paul and Judy Rice's 50th Anniversary Party, I love their family dearly. It turned out to be such a pretty day, they were married 50 years in February. Their family had them a dinner at there family historical home, Elm Bluff and there were around 50 guests to show up. The old home if gorgeous, lots of old antiques inside. This home is located in Speedwell.  They had a wonderful time and I loved hearing the stories on them from there past.  The best part was when Paul gave "Momma Judy" ( that is all I know her by, I just can't call her Judy) a little plastic pink Thunderbird, she got so tickled but then he handed her a set of keys and she was so SURPRISED and she said where is it at. So check out her anniversary gift toward the bottom. Pictures don't do it justice - it is beautiful!! Congratulations to you both!
